The Air show will return on 23rd June at 10am. Model aircraft flying is becoming a more available hobby, with technology moving forward at a fast pace, making what is called the ARTF (Almost ready to fly) Kits available with most just requiring a battery charge and you can go and fly. These are just a small range off aircraft and helicopters available and only scratch the surface in the RC World.
The Caterham Model Airshow will feature some of the UKs top display pilots which will be displaying a vast range of aircraft from scale models such as the famour Spitfires and Hurricane, slow flying trainers and Freestyle Aerobatic displays which are sure to be show stopping displays. The show will hopefully give a full insight into all types of flying, and although we are restricted to flying models below 7KG at this event, there will still be some display static mdels which are up to 3.1metres span. There will be plenty of pilots on hand to answer questions, and to give a good insight into servos etc.
Let’s hope for some good weather as also on that day on Westway common is the Beer fest, the Prosecco bar, the Caterham games, the bungy slide and Last night of the Festival proms. A great family day outby
