Welcome Back !!!!!!
Hello and welcome to the 2010 Caterham Festival. Following the success of the 1st ever Festival held in Caterham, we have decided to repeat the event again this year. We received a lot of praise from people of all different ages after the Festival and I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the members of the various committees who worked so hard to ensure that the event was the success that it was.
This year, many new events are planned, but don't worry, we will be keeping some of your favourites. The Street party will continue and it will be in Caterham High Street on Sunday 30th May. Author and former politician Martin Bell will be coming to Caterham Library on Wednesday 23rd June. The open Caterham weekend will take place on 5th and 6th June. This year there will be more to see and do.
New this year will be the De Fest, a two day music event at De Stafford School. This will include the finals of Tandridge has got talent, and also an afternoon of easy listening jazz and classical music.
We are planning other events as well, such as a cycle race from 'The Valley to the Hill', but dates and permissions haven't been finalised yet
