You are invited to........ A Teddy Bears` Picnic
As part of The Caterham Festival, Play Safely are hosting a Teddy Bears’ Picnic at Queens Park in Caterham.
We welcome friends of all ages to come along between 12noon and 3pm on Saturday 4 June to enjoy the playground and share a picnic with your favourite Teddy. After you’ve enjoyed your picnic we hope our younger visitors will take part in the Obstacle Course while the older children tackle our Treasure Hunt!
Entrance is completely free and there will be a prize for every child taking part. There will also be refreshments served from the Pavilion.
We hope that you will also have time to visit the playground and see (or play on!) our brand new climbing frame, generously provided by Tandridge District Council, which should be installed around mid May. Also, come and have a play on our ‘monster logs’ which are situated just outside the playground fence in our wild orchard. Over the next few months we hope to develop this natural play area and commission some signage which will identify the names and use of trees surrounding the playground.
